I had the pleasure of serving as photographer for the event “Udha – One Blood, One Language, One Pledge”, held on December 5, 2025, in Lausanne — a gathering that brought together members of the Albanian diaspora in an atmosphere marked by emotion, reflection, and shared identity.

Hosted at EPFL, the event centered around the screening of a culturally significant documentary produced by the “Lorik Cana 5” Foundation, a project that resonates deeply with themes of heritage, unity, and collective memory. The evening offered a meaningful space for dialogue and connection, reinforcing bonds across generations within the Albanian community in Switzerland.

The initiative was made possible through the engagement of albinfo.ch, whose trust and collaboration contributed to the success of the event, as well as the dedication of the co-organizers AEAUL – Association des Étudiants Albanais de l’Université de Lausanne and Swiss-Albania-Event, who brought this important film project to the academic setting of EPFL.

Documenting this gathering was both a professional privilege and a personal experience — capturing moments that reconnect individuals to their roots, their language, and their shared cultural narrative.
