I had the distinct honor of serving as the official photographer for the celebration of the 113th Anniversary of Albania’s Independence and the 81st Anniversary of its Liberation, organized on November 27, 2025, by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Albania to the United Nations in Geneva and other international organizations based in Geneva.
The commemorative event brought together representatives of diplomatic missions, the United Nations, and various international organizations headquartered in Geneva, alongside members of the Albanian community living and working in Switzerland, who honored the occasion with their presence.
The Guest of Honor was Ms. Ana Roch, President of the Grand Council of the Canton of Geneva.
The year 2025 marks two significant milestones: the 70th anniversary of Albania’s membership in the United Nations and the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Albania and Switzerland.
Documenting this distinguished gathering was both a professional privilege and a meaningful experience, capturing a moment of national pride, diplomatic engagement, and shared history within the international landscape of Geneva.
